When Midlands began operations back in 1977, underground utility construction was our core business and that is still true today. We are involved in the installation of sewer, water and storm sewer systems as well as wastewater treatment lagoons and sewer lift stations. We have a wide range of equipment to match our employees' capabilities. We can install a small water main using mini-excavators or complete a deep sewer interceptor project using advanced trench shoring solutions and large excavators. No project is too small or complex. In fact, we like the complex projects the most. We have experience dealing with high groundwater, rock excavation and heavy traffic congestion. As you will see on our Trenchless Technology page, we have the capability to use trenchless methods to install and rehabilitate underground utilities without surface disruption. Whatever method the project requires, we have the people and know-how to get it done safely, on time and under budget.
